Every "body" can benefit from a personalized bike fitting. Think of it as having your bike tailored to your body rather than "you" having to figure out how to fit on your bike. There are many modifications that can be done to create a comfortable "happy place" for you while riding your bike. Seats are the big problem! If you are not comfortable sitting on the seat you drastically modify your riding posture to try and find a comfortable spot on the seat. I have seen clients come in for a bike fitting with multiple seats that they have purchased and still are not comfortable!
I work with all kinds of bikes. Road bikes, Triathlon bikes, Mountain bikes, e-bikes and yes comfort bikes! (that are not comfortable is not set up correctly.)
Yes. In fact the shoe/cleat position is very critical because it is the one part of the body where you are actually attached to the bike! You can move around on the seat and you can move your hands around but your feet are fixed. This is actually the starting point with the fitting process. From here we work our way up the body. Knees are very particular to cleat position. This is not something that should just be "slapped" on. I almost always reposition a clients incorrect cleat position.
We do not. After the bike fitting session and with the amount of time spent in finding a saddle/seat that works with you body and allows proper position I seldom see a need for a change. With that said there is a 30 day return policy.
